Lisandro
Castillo (Field Supervisor): Lisandro is one of the most
experienced linemen on Roatan with 20 years experience
of clambering up and over poles with the agility of a lemur ! He first
began work as an electrician as a way of getting rank and a pay raise
with Honduran army’s 105th infantry battalion in Trujillo and when
he was discharged as First Sergeant, continued work in factories as an
industrial electrician. In 1992 he began working at RECO where he worked
as a service drop crew chief as well as 13.8kv high line lineman until
1998 when he tried the public sector working for a development. Lisandro
is a trained cableman in terminating 15kv cable. He has been with GreenHill
since its beginnings in 2004 and is a shareholder but most importantly
as field supervisor and dazzling striker in the GreenHill soccer team!
Rene
Diaz (Office Manager): A graduate of Jonesville’s
Instituto Honduras college , Rene came to us from a local bank where he
worked since leaving school. Despite only having been with us for a short
while Rene has begun to show the makings of an excellent draftsman (CAD)
and a fine staking engineer. Green Hill is committed to training and Rene
since joining us has made the most of this commitment by learning a variety
of new skills besides running the office. Rene lives in Punta Gorda.
Juan
Antunez and Carlos Ocampo (linemen/ cablemen): Juan and
Carlos have been with the company since the beginning and have achieved
much with the company in the interim (thousands of feet of conduit buried;
cable pulled, terminated and energized; underground, above ground and
underwater!) Personally these 2 have also taken full advantage of the
company’s commitment to training becoming proficient cablemen with
a wealth of experience and knowledge under their belts. Both are proficient
residential electricians. Juan is a Bo. Los Fuertes resident and Carlos
from Coxenhole.
Manrike
Balderama and Dennis Fuentes (assistant linemen/cablemen):
Dennis Fuentes comes to us from the Navy ( Fuerza Naval ) where he was
a marine electrician. He is from Coxen Hole. Manrike Balderama has always
had a keen interest in linework being the son of a RECO lineman. Manrike
